Madrid parking exhibitorMadrid-Barajas airport has over 10,000 parking places. Specifically, there are five public parking areas: car parks P1 and P2 (located in the terminal buildings T1 and T2, respectively) with 2,392 and 4,600 places available; the express car park for short stays has 39 spaces; the VIP car park has 162 spaces and there is a long-stay car park with 1,655 spaces.
P1
Public use open-air car park in front of T1.
There are fifteen automatic payment machines in P1. The daily and monthly parking rates must be paid in advance. The payment machines accept nearly all notes and coins (Euros). Credit cards are also accepted: Visa, Mastercard, Eurocard and American Express. Credit cards have a limit. For Visa, Mastercard and Eurocard it is 90.15 €. For Diners and American Express, 120.20 €. Payments for higher amounts have to be made at a manned window. You have to pay before you can get your vehicle out of the car park. Once you have paid, you have twenty minutes in which to leave the car park.
P2
Car park for public use, distributed on seven floors and divided into four modules (A, B, C and D). A ring road distributes the vehicles over four modules. The first floor accesses the terminals via a central passageway.
There are twenty automatic payment machines in P2 and an information desk in the entrance of the car park building (floor 1).
Express car park
Short-stay public parking is a few metres away from the arrivals hall in T2. For stays longer than half an hour another car park should be used.
VIP car park
Before arriving at P5, for hired cars. Vehicles are delivered and collected at the marked places.
Longterm parking
Free bus which takes passsengers to the airport terminals. Buses run continually from 7:00am to midnight. Wait times are less than 10 minutes. From midnight to 7:00am this service can be solicited through interphones situated at arrivals for T1, T2 and T3.
